Great news : if you love the typical cheese and wine aperitif , or prefer the week end Cheese brunch we have the spot for you! Could sound French... but this is definitely the Californian way.
Within barely 18 months, Mission Cheese has built its reputation on Valencia in the midst of so many other restaurants. The owners really care about the quality and the freshness of the products. It offers a wide selection of cheeses, cow, goat, sheep, fresh, smooth. earthy, nutty, blue or even stinky (makes sense:-))... Make your own choice! No French cheese on the menu. No offense and none taken! A whole "palette" of California and beyond to discover and taste.
You won’t get lost with the menu, it is compact and concised: some Cheese sandwiches, also Cheese plates and even Cheese specialities like the renowned ‘Raclette’ or the very symbolic "Mac and Cheese". Simply say Cheese! You want to bring some Cheese back home? Go ahead. Help and indulge yourself: all cheeses are available cut to order!
As you might expect - if they have cheese, they have wine ! To complete the cheese experience, the menu proposes an interesting selection of wines... Californian wines from Santa Clara, Emeryville, Central Coast, Napa... And if you don't like wines... the beer selection is not that bad either!
The interior design of the bar is cozy and comfortable. Perfect to spend a nice intimate moment catching up with a friend. The exterior area is a beautiful terrace, perfect spot on the ever-popular Valencia.
