There is something about the American brand Madewell that appeals to French women…
Unavailable in the city so far, the retailer has opened a store last summer in San Francisco’s Westfield Mall. And we love it! The brand was bought by J.Crew a few years ago. The result : a preppy okay style, but preppy trendy, cool and simple. The Madewell look? Casual and comfortable, with an indie-hipster-retro touch.
Long-sleeve silk blouses and ex-boyfriend shirts, easygoing tees, a denimbar where you will find the perfect jeans, wellcut jackets, coats and parkas, romantic dresses… Accessories as well : long necklaces so "tendance" or trendy boots you have to wear with a mini if you want to look like trendstetter Alexa Chung… whose newly designed capsule collection for Madewell is currently in store… Don’t wait too long, or it might be too late for THE season’s Must Have !
