UNIQLO IN SF

in

Grand opening: Friday, October 5 @ 10am.

Uniqlo, its cashmeres, its colors and its fashion land in SF.

The opening of its first us store on Broadway in NY had been a real fashion event back in 2006.

One could finally discover this famous "Japanese Gap" that was renowned for offering affordable cashmere items. The walls, covered with piles of colorful cashmere sweaters, were the fashion attraction in Soho at that time. Since then, Uniqlo expanded in NY and opened two locations in Paris.

Now, the japanese casual wear company made the decision to embark upon the Gold Rush adventure: Uniqlo will open its first location outside of NY, here in SF. Its flagship store, just blocks away from Union Square, is supposed to become the epicenter of its expansion along the West Coast.

29,000 square feet of t'shirts, cashmere sweaters, denims... in a "so very wide" array of colors, for men, women and kids: that's the plan!

Before D-day, the company opened a pop-up experience to offer shoppers a sneak peak of what they're going to get soon. Customers will find the latest up-to-date branding and campaign festivity information regarding the Union Square Flagship at the pop-up location.

Just go and take a look (on Post right before Kearny) at it. Cashmere sweaters are already there, colorful ultra light down jackets are very attractive and "inspired" graphics t'shirts should appeal to you.

You can also play online with Maru, the cat and win prizes. Take your chance. Maru looks nice and funny...

For the Grand Opening: light jackets, t'shirts to win, limted edition tote bags... Uniqlo is celebrating the opening of its first store in California, and so makes it worth a visit!
