The French band Phoenix announced its concert at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley

Thomas Mars, Deck d'Arcy, Laurent Brancowitz and Christian Mazzalai have been performing here and there and everywhere since they released Ti Amo last year.

Phoenix is coming to Berkeley September 8, 2018 for a unique concert.

This Phoenix might not be immortal but it's been about 20 years now that the 4 French guys shared their style and music. They love to come to San Francisco (some may even have family reasons) and were already here last June, sharing the stage at the Shoreline Amphitheater with other artists. That is when they released their new album Ti Amo, 4 years years after Bankrupt!

Phoenix will perform at the Greek Theatre September 8. For those who are new in town, never go to concerts or had no time to so far... you have to know about this unique venue : outdoor concerts with great acoustics and sound and a setting like no others with, if you seat at the top of the bleachers (and even further on the grass), a view on the Bay.

What about Phoenix? 4 French guys who explain that being French makes them inevitably romantic. Since theit first album, United, almost 20 years ago, they created a style of their own, and made it change and evoluate album after album.

We took a look at their recent story and found out about their collaboration with La Blogotheque, a renowned website in France, producing among other things original and creative videos. Their worked with Phoenix for the past 10 years. For Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, they chose the Trocadero as scenery, and for Bankrupt!, they went to Versailles! For Ti Amo, they had to go to Italy. And here is the outcome...

The Greek Theatre in Berkeley will be as perfect as the teatro Bibiena to host Phoenix' show and performance. Another memorable experience!
