Planning a business trip to San Francisco
You are staying in San Francisco for business reason, a convention or an important meeting. Here are some ideas of hotels and restaurants to help you organize your trip.
First the Hotels. Most of them are located dowtown SF, right in the Financial district and close to the Moscone Center (SF main convention facility), which is probably where you would need to be for your work. Fortunate coincidence! To name just a few: the Ritz Carlton, the St Regis, the Clift Hotel , the Fairmont or the W.
All these hotels have a high speed internet connection, a fitness room... Prices are available on the hotels' websites. If you want to find a good deal, check hotels.com.
As for restaurants, you have a huge choice without even taking a taxi. To celebrate a business deal or a promise project, Gary Danko (for that restaurant take the historic cable car at Union square) or Ame in the St Regis are perfect choices. Remember, it's always better to book in advance (so bet that there won't be any deal breaker!).
For a business lunch, try the greek Kokkari, the japanese Ozumo, or One Market a Michelin star winning restaurant that serves "new american cuisine".
Last, in you want to unwind after a long day of work, here are two trendy options on Embarcadero : The Slanted Door and Lamar Cebicheria.
