LOU DOILLON IN SAN FRANCISCO

It is a real delight to announce that Lou Doillon is coming back to San Francisco for a concert in May at the Bimbo's 365 Club.

Those who, like us, were at the Great American Music Hall a bit more than 2 years ago, could not help but succumbing to Lou Doillon's charm. Her slender silhouette, and yet her pretty powerful and confident voice, her sense of humour and sweet derision, her elegant British accent... everything contributes to make her character so kind and pleasant. You feel like you are listening to a good friend of yours.

She released her first album Places in 2012. That's how she revealed her outstanding voice which seems to resonate from deep inside, which sounds powerful and yet vulnerable. Simply listen and then you will understand.

Last Fall, she released her second album Lay Low. She worked with Taylor Kirk, from the Canadian band, Timber Timbre. It received very positive reviews in the European media which mention the brilliant and subtle inventiveness of this artistic collaboration.

When she walked on the Great American Music Hall stage for her former concert, Lou Doillon depicted the venue as ''simply divine''. She's right. That's exactly what it is. And she will love the Bimbo's and its rather intimate atmosphere.

See you there and then. And in the meantime, we will listen to Lay Low, over and over again.
