Gourmet food and much more!
San Francisco's latest French buzz? Gourmet&More, the established French wholesaler who provides gourmet food to many local restaurants in the Bay Area, has just opened an "epicerie fine" in Hayes Valley.
In addition to various typically French products and brands not available anywhere else in the city, who have the same impact on French expatriates than Proust's famous madeleine, there are many more things we like about this store...
The spanish olive oil served in old fashioned bottle you can bring back and refill... The prices that are more than reasonable for made in France products coming from so far away... The delicious and 100% natural French macarons cooked daily by L'Artisan Macarons. Irresistible!
And last but not least... the incredible and fantastic cheese cellar like no other in San Francisco. Every cheese you can find in an authentic cheese store in France is for sale here, not to mention some excellent American farm cheese. And if you need an advice for your cheese board, ask Laurent the friendly owner, he is a real cheese passionate who knows the ingredients and provenance of every single cheese in the cellar. Yummy!
A new major French addition to SF Hayes Valley. Check it out!
