Fast Food Français

Words that we don’t usually put together. However…

The restaurant, Fast Food Français recently opened its doors on Caledonia Street, in Sausalito, where Plate Shop used to be. The owners, who also run le Garage in Sausalito and L’Appart in San Anselmo, have put together a very trendy style of restaurant: gourmet fast food or American comfort food with a French twist.

The menu features small plates, soups and salads and especially excellent gourmet burgers: beef burger with St Nectaire and Béarnaise, duck confit burger with goat cheese, etc. with side orders of fries or tater tots (pommes dauphines)!

Furthermore, this restaurant is near Sausalito’s movie theater. It looks like there are some great “dinner and a movie” evenings in our near future.
