Great choice on both locations (18th Street and Divisadero). Everything looks, smells, is good at Bi-Rite!
Don't forget the cheese counters of some supermarkets. Our favorite : Whole Foods (larger choice at Potrero Hills' Whole Foods), Andronicos (the woman at the Cheese department on Irving is an expert! And she is facing an amazing wines cellar!) and Trader Joe’s for easy and simple stuff and some good surprises (emmental, gruyère and they used to have raclette imported from France and Switzerland. Let's hope they will again sometimes).
