Spring is traditionally a very active period of the year for the housing market in San Francisco.

Mathilde Froustey's story is like the new Tales of the City... taking place in Oakland, Fruitvale. I went to La Maison Oakland to meet Mathilde with Sabrina Bot, her camera at hands. Here are our tales of a great sunny afternoon East Bay in words and images.

I had the great pleasure to meet Tom di Maria with Agnès Faure from the 836M Gallery, at Creative Growth in Oakland. Good timing since Living Color, the new exhibition opens May 5th. Let me tell you more about my visit there.

Pilates Story, a brand new classical Pilates studio, has opened it’s door at 183 West Portal Avenue. We met with Hélène and Hye-yeon who partnered in this (ad)venture.

The French duo, AIR, will be in the air this June. They were already in SF last summer. It looks like they liked it. They will perform at the Masonic on June 23.

A-WA, really sounds, looks and resonates like an amazing musical phenomenon: 3 sisters, from Israel, who sing Arabic and make such an impression with their performing live.

 

 

Petit Biscuit has not performed at the Rickshaw Stop yet that he already announced he would be back to San Francisco this summer. Petit Biscuit has big projects!

Since last Fall, 836M Gallery presented a series of exhibits dedicated to artists working at Creative Growth in Oakland. The fourth and last one is open until May 8.

1967 - 2017 The Summer of Love is 50. At the heart of the Golden Gate Park, the de Young Museum will celebrate this anniversary with a dedicated exhibition. Summe 2017 will be filled with Peace and Love!
