AND THE WINNERS ARE...

... 12th graders at the Lycée Français of San Francisco!

They did it! They are attending Theatre classes as part of their curriculum, they attended a Festival in NY and they won! Good job.

Arthur Le Meur, Félix Déchant et Chloé Rinaldi went to New York first week end of February for the Festival "PremièreScène" (could be translated as first stage, first performance on stage) organized by the Lycée Français of New York

They were accompanied by Frédéric Patto and Jacques Ligonie with whom they wrote a 7 minutes scene with a key theme: resistance. The jury gathered theatre professionals and teachers. The SF team received the Grand Prix du Jury for their creation, the most prestigious prize of the event. And Félix Dechant got the award as "Meilleur espoir masculin" (best young actor).

More than 150 students participated to the Festival (from New Jersey, Massachussets, Texas, Canada, France...)

Parents, teachers and students can be proud of their achievement.

Congrats for this great story. We can't wait to hear from you again!
