AN ACQUIRED TASTE BY THE FRENCH DIRECTOR VANESSA LEMAIRE AT THE SF GREEN FILM FESTIVAL
An Acquired Taste, a documentary by the SF based French director Vanessa Lemaire, will premiere at the Roxie Theater with the SF Green Film Festival, on April 16, 2016.
Why kill your own food? An Acquired Taste delves into the inner conflicts of a new urban breed in the San Francisco Bay Area: locavore hunters. Defying factory farms, a young, mindful generation learns to hunt as a way of connecting with the source of their sustenance. Vanessa Lemaire's feature debut is a profound reflection on what makes us human.
A Discussion with Vanessa Lemaire, director/producer and many of the characters in the film will follow at a near art gallery.
