Concerts

Come and celebrate Make Music Day in Oakland on June 21st, 2018. The Alliance Française of Berkeley and Maison Bleue have worked together to organize a memorable event.

You can be both a soccer and a music fan. The good thing is that most soccer games are early during the day while Make Music Day celebrations are late afternoon or evening.

Last year, at the Independent, the French artist, JAIN, told us she would come back in the Fall. She just skipped one year. It's alright...

Thomas Mars, Deck d'Arcy, Laurent Brancowitz and Christian Mazzalai have been performing here and there and everywhere since they released Ti Amo last year.

The story of Her, the French duo formed by Victor Solf and Simon Carpentier is a tragic story, and yet a beautiful and powerful one, filled with and built on art, music, friendship, life and respect. Victor Solf will perform in San Francisco on May 12, at the Cafe du Nord.

The SF Symphony added 2 cult movies to its April program: Batman and Amadeus to watch with the score performed live! Going to a movie takes another dimension.

Jean-Michel Jarre is among the few French artists who have been invited to Coachella. Between 2 concerts in Indio, he will bring his Oxygene and Electronica to the City National Civic in San Jose.

Last minute idea, just in case you would not have anything planned yet for your Saturday brunch.

Petit Biscuit, barely 18 years old, is definitely the Little Prince of the French electro music. With already millions of views here and there, he is coming to Coachella this Spring and will perform in Oakland.

French Friday night at La Maison Oakland with live music, some fashion and... croissants, bien sûr!
