A tiny lunch spot, downtown SF
For a different experience of lunch or brunch downtown San Francisco, walk a few blocks, from Union Square, on Post street, heading North-West. There you will find a very tiny cafe-restaurant Farm :Table.
The place is really tiny (imagine tiny and make it even tinier), charming and cozy. After ordering at the bar, you may sit inside at the unique "table d'hôtes" for 8, in front of the bow window. If weather permits, there is also an outside sitting option with two small bistrot tables.
The menu is lilliputian as well, but fresh and delicious : 3 or 4 light dishes, salad, soup, sandwich, appetizing pastries ; and all sorts of coffees... latte, americano, macchiato… that are by themselves worth the trip to this restaurant between 2 downtown shopping sessions.
This kind of places are one of the reason we love SF!
