Paris Mode French Personal Shopper

Have you ever asked yourself "Why do French women always look so chic?" ? Don’t think it’s only because of French designers…, it’s because French women find a look, a style, shapes and colors that look good on them, and then stick to it, adding some trendy details each season.

To help you define your own style, and find the perfect outfit for any occasion (a wedding, an interview, a trip…), Audrey and Vanessa, two French women living in the Bay area, both passionate about fashion and shopping, have created their personal shopping company Paris Mode. From one-on-one shopping to wardrobe consultation, they will share with you their expertise in fashion and trends, and will give you invaluable tips to develop your personal image and always feel well in your clothes.

For LostinSF, they agree to share one of their secrets… their selection of favorite Silicon Valley boutiques for women and kids:

Los Gatos Baby

Every time we are in Los Gatos, we stop at Los Gatos Baby. Of course we always buy something for our kids or their friends! This store doesn’t carry a lot of baby clothes (cute clothes for toddlers and older though) but you can find cute onesies and a lot of Baby’s gear. They sale beautiful bedding and if like us you are addicted to plushies, this is your paradise!

You are looking for a baby shower gift? You can personalize wall art and decor!

If you come with Paris Mode, you’ll have a special appointment after hours!

12 N. Santa cruz avenue, Los Gatos

Olivia Boutique

Olivia is Paris Mode "coup de cœur"!

Walking in Olivia boutique, is like walking on a runway. Store decoration is as amazing as her capsule collection. If you want the best quality, latest trends in fashion and an undivided attention, you will love her boutique in Los Altos.

Olivia is the owner of this unique store. She is kind and very knowledgeable about her clothing line. She travels several times a year to Paris, Milan and Tokyo to select every item for the next season.

Needless to say, Olivia boutique is our favorite choice.

Le Cirque des Enfants

Going to Le Cirque des Enfants reminds us of our shopping experience in Paris. If you want your baby to have a French style or need baby's essentials, it's the place to go. They carry French brands, as luxurious as Bonpoint, adorable layette, our beloved Petit Bateau bodysuits (from 18 months to 6 years), but not only… beddings, pillows, blankets in a wide range of prices and fabrics (including cashmere for babies with delicate skin)... trendy and modern Stokke furniture!

If you are pregnant, make a wish to receive presents from Le cirque des enfants or make a baby registry!

We know that lingerie is as important as an outfit. As French women, we love lace, embroidery, soft fabrics... such details we embraced in Simone Pérèle and Lejaby lingerie collections.

Romantiques in Los Gatos has a wide selection of bras, panties and hosieries such as stockings, Falke knee high socks, girdles and slips.

Whatever you are looking for, you will find it in this small and inviting boutique!

51 University avenue, Los Gatos

Angela's boutique is located one block away from the main street. We love to make a detour just to meet Daniela, a welcoming French speaking woman with an eye for high taste. She will be thrilled to show you the collection.

Angela's style is best described as "classic with a twist".

The high quality of her selection from Europe and U.S will make you so elegant every day.

The boutique offers a wide range of designer brands such as Golden Goose, Brunello Cucinelli, Massimo Alba (new cotton voile shirts)… and Dear cashmere sweaters!

Do you miss St Tropez? K. Jacques spartans are waiting for you! Need to pair it with handmade bags? Paris Mode's favorite is the Lorenza Gandaglia ($450), declined in a large panel of colors!

Angela’s boutique organizes many Trunk shows… so stay in touch with their Facebook page!
