Spring Eggstravaganza

Golden Gate Park, Sharon Meadow

Saturday April 19 , 11am - 3pm.

This Spring celebration features carnival rides, games, egg hunts, live entertainment, and a BBQ competition between Rec and Park, SF Police and SF Fire departments.

Spring celebration and Easter parade

Union Street, Cow Hollow neighborhood

Sunday April 20, 10 am - 5pm.

Now in its 23rd year, this is San Francisco’s only annual Easter Parade and Spring Celebration. The street is closed to through traffic and comes alive with costumed characters, petting zoos, pony rides, children’s activities and live music.

Easter at Golden Gate Park

Sunday April 20, 10am - 4pm

So typical of San Francisco. The event is usually held at Dolores Park, but because the park is under renovation, this year's event is held in the GGP at Hellman Hollow.

It starts at 11am with a children Easter egg's hunt, followed by a circus parade at 11:55am. Then it's adults' turn to celebrate Easter. So you might want to bring your kids back home. You'll be the judge...
